Pink Gallery is an online gallery of art works that are created by Anita Lai who is a freelance artist. It is also an online shop that sells paintings and its printing byproducts.

All of the paintings are illustrated by beautiful colours of oil paint as the medium. Postcards are designed personally and printed in Japan.

“Pink represents me, or I represent Pink. For those who know me would agree.”

Anita always like painting since when she was little. She enjoys sketching and illustrating random objects, ideas, or feelings using random instruments like pens, pencils and was usually very colourful.

When at school or later at work, she always has a set of colourful pens as she simply likes writing notes in different colours too. "Everything should be coloured! They are just much more interesting, and it draws my attention!"

In Oct 2013, she finally made the time to pick up painting again and as a more “serious” hobby. She also started using oil paint as the medium which is something she always wanted to try. The process of painting really brings out her creativity but at the same time keeps her calm like a meditation. "It was really enjoyable and I absolutely love it." She then decided to continue to pursue her painting journey.

アニータは小さい頃からずっと絵を描くのが好きでした。彼女はペンや鉛筆など様々な道具を使用して物やその時浮かんだアイデア、感情などをスケッチやイラストとして描く事を楽しんでいます。たくさんの色を使った色彩豊かな作品が多いのが特徴です。

学生時代または社会人になってもノートに様々な色で書けるよう、常に沢山の色のペンを持ち歩いています「すべての物に色をつけるべき！その方が面白いし惹きつけられます！」

2013年10月、彼女はついに再び絵を描くことになり、本格的な趣味として始めました。また、彼女が以前から試してみたかった油絵の具を使い始めました。絵を描く過程は、彼女の創造性をとても引き出し、同時に瞑想のように彼女を落ち着かせます「絵を描く事はとても楽しく絶対的に大好きな時間です」彼女はそれから自身の絵の旅を追求し続けることに決めました。
